Moody Moon Wellness is the brainchild of our founder, Shyamal Patel, a pharmacist in an independent pharmacy in the state of Virginia, USA. Through his daily interactions with patients and clients in his community, he identified the need for natural alternatives that would support and promote key areas of health.

This was the motivation to develop natural products that would strengthen and renew people’s overall well being, thereby, impacting their lives in a meaningful way. Shyamal’s training as a pharmacist gave him the distinct advantage of understanding the human body and how both biochemical and organic compounds affect basic biological functions. This expertise included both a scientific understanding of organic compounds, as well as an understanding of the benefits of the compounds found in botanicals that have been used in traditional Indian subcontinent medicine for centuries.

Our Co-Founder, Uresha, uses formulations of botanicals, used in Indian health traditions, to target increased natural functioning of many areas of concern, from hair and skin health to immune system defense, which she develops for home use. This was the inspiration for the development of Moody Moon Wellness organic products that would be made available for a wide audience of people looking for natural health boosting alternatives.

Moody Moon Wellness products are pharmacist formulated and then tested for effectiveness. Shyamal conducts trials with patients, who use the products, and are then assessed, over months, to see how they work. When the results show signs that the patient has benefited, in targeted areas of health, then the product is produced and made available through MoodyMoonWellness.com, and through retail distributors that carry the Moody Moon Wellness brand.
